"Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, 'In this world, Elwood, you must be' - she always called me Elwood - 'In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant.' Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant."

Basically... run!
Pan's Labyrinth...wow. I feel emotionally drained. What an amazing film. You know it's a good foreign flick when you forget you are reading sub-titles and listening to people speak a language you don't understand! k

Just watched Transformers. What a cool movie! That kid from Holes did such a great job!! Now I know who Bumble-bee is.
We really had such low expectations for this movie and now I'm definitely ranking it among my favorite films of '07. Is it wrong that I have a huge crush on Shia LaBeouf (I'm old enough to be his mom...*gulp*)...? k
I didn't actually sit and watch the whole thing, but this morning my one son watched 28 Weeks Later. I was in and out of the room and watched some of it. I don't need to see that movie ever again!! Nasty.
I really like that movie...haven't seen the sequel, though. Of course, the one issue I have with that is that main character was in a coma for a month or more and would have run out of IV solution, so he should have died from dehydration. That part kind of annoys me, as it's a pretty major plot hole. k
My mistake was coming into the room during a scene of pure blood and gore. And, I was annoyed when one of the characters died and I thought he would live.
Have you seen "Shawn of the Dead?" It's the zombie theme, but funny as hell. k
Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson
Dh wouldn't let us watch that when it was on last week I figured the twins would get a good laugh out of it. Oh well... MTA
