Ow, my friggin' neck! (Read 187 times)

Ever wake up with your neck feeling just fine, then when you are in the shower washing your hair you move your head just a little bit, feel a bit of a snap, then spend the rest of the day unable to turn your head in one direction? Yeah? Sucks, don't it?!

Any idea what causes this sort of thing? I've woken up with a sore neck, before, but never has a simple movement caused this that I can ever remember....

I have had that happen. I just ignore the pain and I am okay in a couple days. However when you are talking about your neck or any injury I can only hope some of the more intelligent people on this board chime in. I hope it gets better.

I don't even think it's an injury, just some sort of muscle spasm. I moved my neck just a little and felt a bit of a snapping sensation. I think it might be from doing stomach crunches yesterday...perhaps I was cranking my neck too much....
