1000 Mile Club

This weekend is kind of a landmark weekend (Read 232 times)

Ok, following the 'tradition' set by others who have already passed the 1000 mile mark for the year, I'll pretend I'm heading off into some other place or world and say 'goodbye'! The journey has been all the easier knowing that all of you are out there pounding the pavement with me, day in and day out! This is kind of a landmark weekend for me because: 1. I ran 1000 miles for the year as of today 2. I started running for the first time October 1, 2006 - almost exactly 1 year ago 3. This week I'm running the most miles ever - 56 (assuming I make it through tomorrow's run Undecided ) 4. Tomorrow I'll run my longest run ever to date - 22 5. 49 days until my FIRST MARATHON! Wish me luck - see you on the other side!! Wink
Awesome accomplishments, Frowzy. Good luck in your marathon!

Passion is a rather frightening thing because if you have passion you don't know where it will take you.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

way to go! you've done awesome, and all in 1 year! Keep running and having fun!
