      60+ miles for the week.

      Feeling the growl again

Well, I've managed to mitigate my lengthy hip issues.  They rarely limit my running now.  I'm up to as much as 10 miles in a run, and have increased my pace from 8min/mile to 7:35/mile (all treadmill).  Volume is not what I want.  Mixing with cycling to make sure I'm not injury-limited again.  Need a swift boot in the rear.  My limitations are all mental now.

That's awesome man. It sounds like you have that pretty much licked...

7:30 miles seem really fast to me right now. I'm running pretty far, but I'm slow. But its coming around...

Nice job guys.  I'm on take # infinity of recovering from glute/hamstring issues.  I feel like this time I have it  mostly figured out.  I've been to running specialists, doctors, PTs, etc. and they all have given me a few pieces of the equation but the problem was I had multiple issues that no one connected.  Form, glute weakness, etc.

I hit 75 miles and 4800 ft of vertical elevation gain this week and I feel pretty good, relaxed muscles no tightness, etc.  I'll take it.  I may or may not have a 100 mile race in the last week of July in Colorado.  Depending on what I find out (hopefully next week) I will post some goals soon.

Flatfooter - 75mi/4800ft and "you'll take it"?!  LIke it's some kind of sup par effort!  LOL!  Sounds awesome hope you get to race that 100miler.

I got in just over 58 miles this past week.  Two good efforts, and my weight is 154 - 155.  Getting there.
