Just a dude.

    Goals for me:

     

    More than 60 total miles

    Get off the roads

    Hill repeats once this week

    Keep losing weight...

      I don't usually post or even have weekly goals but here goes a try at it ...

       

      60+ miles

      Big Workout on Sat or Sunday

      Make 155 pounds by Sunday morning


      Feeling the growl again

        My goal is to avoid further injuries so I can work out at least once a day.

         

        I don't know what I did to my right hip but I bounce around between piriformis-type pain and hip flexor area pain.  I've been on the bike for two days now after an 8-miler flared the hip flexor.  So my approach now is if I can run I run, and if I can't I bike...

          71.2 miles. Just over 6000 feet of elevation.

          3x off the roads

          Hill Repeats and also got a tempo run in

          Down a couple pounds (to 212 this morning)

              61.9 miles

              One workout on Sat of 5X1600 (200jog) and 4X200 (200 jog)

              34 day streak going.

               

              I normally would do a long run on Sunday morning but realized with this shutdown that I don't HAVE to do my LR on the weekend!  I can do it whenever I want.  So I just did a normal 9 miler instead of beating myself up the day after my Sat workout.  Perfect opportunity to start on that ideal 10day cycle rather than the 7day cycle forced upon us by 'work'.
