Late to the party but goal is another 80+ mile week and a long run with at least 2500 ft of vert. On the fence as to whether to brave the deer flies on the trails.
This was a tough week for me. Speed training on Wednesday which didn't go well, long run on trails with 2700 feet of vert but a struggle the whole time. Closed out the week with 81 miles and 4700 ft of vert.
My week:
63.9 total miles with about 7200 feet vertical.
By Wednesday, I felt great. I felt completely recovered and more energetic than when I actually did my run last Sunday.
Also, lost 5.6 pounds of mostly taper weight.
Sounds like a challenging but productive week for you, flatfooter...
