Getting back in shape... Just need it to be a skinnier shape...
This week and next week is gonna be tough for me as I go to New Orleans for 8 days starting Thursday. Mardi Gras! Can I keep my running streak going? That's my goal - run every day, at least a mile.
Good Bad & The Monkey
Keep on rolling.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
awesome - have fun! It will be interesting if you can roll or not?
I am not sure if I will hit all my goals this week - But as I arrived Monday in York, PA. Instead of going directly to the plant, i stopped off at Rocky Ridge Co Park - great trails packed into a 800 acre park on a 500 vertical foot ridge ... it was 50 and sunny ... running was so goooood! So many rocks and rock gardens with just enough roots for flavor.
The park is only open from sunrise to sunset - so this time of year ... I cannot run before or after work there.
Usual for me - 40 miles
Eat better - drink less
On the eat better part my experiment with VB^ seems to be working.

Feeling the growl again
Lost the better part of a couple weeks due to family health issues. Back at it now, trying to mix both a run and a spin session each day as possible. Tomorrow I'll try running more than 6 miles for the first time in ~6 weeks. Thus far the right leg issue seems to have resolved but this should test it.
Despite the running setback I've made progress on the bike...January test was 184W and this was up to 194W this week.

I am spaniel - Crusher of Treadmills
Spaniel, I hope everyone is OK. Sorry to hear about the illness.
We had flu in our house a couple weeks ago. I ended up getting a mild case of it, but it triggered asthma and now sinusitis. I have been coughing and snotting for weeks. I finally started treating it yesterday after it got to the point that I was producing so much snot and coughing so much that any kind of running was very difficult. I’m turning the corner which is great.

61.8 miles for the week
2 days off the roads
Down a little bit (228.2)
Got my 40. Barely.
Ran 3 5ks (brewery one was a pop up) with fair results.
Ate much better.
Lent will be my rubicon
30 miles. Still coughing, but making progress.
Keep rollin
68.2 Miles
4,420 vertical
2 x Weights
2 dessert runs Between 60-90 Minutes
I lost the mileage goal Saturday ... Travel day and when I arrived it was raining all day in the desert. Right before bed I did the minimum.
@ great trail runs in York, PA - Rocky ... hilly goodness.
I could have done trail / vertical running on Superstition Mountain ... But I opted to just go out the back gate on my dad's park and run on 4 wheeler trails to keep more time for cards with him and my Uncle and Aunt.
