Here we are. December 31. We asked you to stick with the game for 12 months and you followed through. Along the way, lots of miles and kilometres and hills and trails and race bibs and sodium tabs and gels and bandaids and body glide and water and wind and heat and cold and all of it. We are tough people.

So what we were some of your highlights in running 2019! Celebrate those wins! Smile

I hit my cycling and running goals...in spite of unplanned loss of a lung lobe in May. And I still managed a sprint duathlon and HM...wasn’t last at either. Cancer didn’t win!!

Getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to

remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air.

It's going to tough to top this one.  This is about as good as it gets.

Everybody get your colonoscopies starting at 45 (the new recommended age -- I was diagnosed at 44, so 40 would have made a big difference. The fastest growing demographic diagnosed is <40) and we can all beat a major, preventable killer! Smile

I love Zoom's highlight, but I'm still going to post my own.

I joined the 10x Club at my fall goal race and set a new race course PR (half marathon) at the same time. It wasn't a half marathon PR, but I expect this is where my half PR will fall. Smile

I got to meet (some for the first time, some again)  a bunch of my LLR ladies in Niagara Falls, including Zoom. Smile

I had a really great team for the 2020 game and got to see a lot of them hit their goals. I love that!

And I got more involved with parkrun which has become a bigger part of my running life and I hope to do a lot more next year. Smile
