I like beets! I also buy the balsamic marinated ones and just eat them as a snack.
The cooked or pickled ones taste much better than they do juiced any day of the week, although the batched I just juiced was actually not that bad. Must be in season.

I grew up never experiencing beets unless in some weird non-Puerto Rican dish. Lately, there is a farro salad at Cheesecake Factory (don't judge about high caloric dinners!) that has beets and it is really a must for that dish.

40 miles on the highway today with the bikes. Freaking headwind from last week returned so the 20 miles back was difficult. Plus it only got up to 54F here today. I was wearing a turtleneck, long sleeve warmth layer and
a vest and was never warm.
