    Okay, which flavor? :-)

Do you have dulce de leche?  If not, strawberry.

So far, so good, thanks for asking. I am of course really anxious to get back into normal training mode, especially since I am already behind on a MT plan. But still kind of nervous about pushing it. Because things can be going great, until they're not.

Sounds good.  Hope you can continue training in some fashion, at least.  I guess you are afraid to push through the speedwork (or is it the mileage?)  I can understand that.

I think so. I'll let you know.

Happy 10 week surgi-versary to me!  Who brought me cake??

In two more weeks, I'll "officially" have a healed labrum.  However, my return to running will likely take another month as my hip flexor that was surgically released is still ridiculously unhappy.    Plus, I want to be conservative and not rush back into things.  But it's getting really, really hard to be patient.

In other news, I may be going to Italy in September.

B-Plus, I hope that you enjoy sleeping.

Rick, have fun doing whatever you do.

Phil, bravo on the 8.3 last night. Enjoy your track workout later.

DaveP MI, nice eight. I'm glad that you're doing OK.

Cyberic99, have a restful rest day.

Lily, have a pleasant ten-miler tonight. It's so difficult to understand the competitiveness of our manchildren, sometimes, LOL.

Morning, all! Just under 5 miles with the group, and now hustling to get DS ready for his second track meet. Today he's doing the long jump, 200m and 400m. They didn't have an 800m this time, and I don't think he's up to doing a mile yet - he'd just be too far behind the others.

Oh, and yesterday was 4.xx miles with 10xstrides, then a full day at a church camp with DS. I really just hung out with the other moms who had driven down, including a not-so-great idea to wade barefoot a couple hundred yards down the trout stream: icy cold and rocky on the bottom!

20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.

Good morning everyone, hope everyone's Friday goes great... even if the morning didn't start out so good Smile

The weather was pleasant enough for Rocky and I to hit the trails this morning for a 5 miler, I have to say that other than the damn spiderwebs, the run was great. I did manage to avoid running through a very large spiderweb with it's inhabitant right smack dab in the center, that was a close one.

AFM, 7.1 miles in about 1:05, which included 8 strides. It was humid out, but for some reason I wasn't uncomfortable. Maybe I've adapted to summer weather.

I finished my 'assignment' from my second job interview last night, and emailed it to the guy. They're going to pick a candidate this afternoon, and an offer will be made. They hope to have everything finalized by Monday. We'll see what happens.
