Former Bad Ass
That reminds me of a line from Kill Bill Volume 1 (one of my all-time favorite flicks along with volume 2); "O-Ren Ishii! You and I have unfinished business!".
Best movies ever.Where's Bill? *Tunk*

When I was pursuing a sub 3 last year, Goo told me to do everything I could to put in some 100 mile weeks. Well, I didn't manage to do that but I did manage several 80+ mile weeks and a couple of 90+ mile weeks. That level of mileage is the only reason I had the strength to make Mile 25-26 my fastest mile of the race by about 30 seconds. I'm not saying that you need to put in that kind of mileage but Goo's idea of getting in every damn mile you can possibly run makes a lot of sense in the marathon.
I think my weak start to the year due to shoulder tendonitis really bit me in the ass come race time. (110 mile total Jan through March)
That won't be an issue next year.
More miles, more longer runs, pretty much keep everything else I did right (as shown by HM PR) the same.
5K 20:23 (Vdot 48.7) 9/9/17
10K 44:06 (Vdot 46.3) 3/11/17
HM 1:33:48 (Vdot 48.6) 11/11/17
FM 4:13:43 (Vdot 35.4) 3/4/18
No more marathons
1. Get over whatever this is that keeps screwing up different parts of my left leg.
2. Arrive at the National Senior Games in Minnessotta in July healthy and ready to race
3. Top 5 or 6 finish in the 60 - 64 1500 and 5K would be nice.(sub 21 for 5K, sub 5:42 for 1500)
Boston 2014 - a 33 year journey

What happened in October? Seems like your mileage took a big dive...
Two PR races and RL (mainly DW's schedule) messed things up a bit.
Ah, I just wondered if that had something to do with it. Because your mileage for August and Sept looked good. But I see your last long run was in August. which could be part of it too.
Super B****
IDK if this is a goal, really, since it wasn't supposed to happen until 2016... but I fear I may wind up running a marathon to redeem myself for the last one.

I just realized something, I've lost my freaking mind!
So I told myself that I wasn't going to set any time goals, well, if you'll look in my sig, you'll see how that went. Guess it's good to have a mark to aim for.
Crap, that will be hard work for me to 1-up you
Well, currently I have to shave a minute off my 5k to get there, lil over two minutes off my 10k and 5 mins off my half, so it might take a lil time to get there.
