North Coast 24 Hour RR - PR's abound! (Read 96 times)

    Awesome RR :-)    I'm not sure how folks made it with those kind of winds out there.  Running 24 hours is one thing...Running 24 hours when the wind is blowing a mist on you at 40 degrees is another!

     

    I'll be doing this event in the fall, so it is great to read your RR and get some perspective from that course.  Again, Congrats, Great race!

      And, WC is right that this is very different from a trail ultra. So take that for what it's worth if you're doing a trail ultra Goo. However, the basics are the same: keep water, calories, and electrolytes going in at a steady rate. Try to keep your effort even. And try not to go mental when everything goes to hell. Smile
