Run to live; live to run

Rest day. Waiting in the guy to come see the hot water heater so we get all the right things. It isn't broken but is getting old so we are being proactive and replacing. Most last around 13 years. This is 14. We would rather to not wait until it totally breaks.  As a bonus we are having a full house after filter put in too. I'm excited. Surprisingly the filter wasn't that expensive.

    Barking Mad To Run

I did not drool at all...since I don't like sweet potatos or quiche....

      Where's the chicken soup?

I had the most tasty lunch in forever.  Caribbean sweet potato crema and a vegetable quiche.  The quiche was probably the best one I've had ever.  Here is a pic so you can drool.

      Barking Mad To Run

You and Damaris are plotting to make me nauseous, aren't you?    Gail says I am a very picky eater and I guess she is right, lol...cuz I don't like cheesecake, strawberries, or whip cream either.

So what on earth do you use in place of whipped cream?

Scotty must be my real twin.Smile.  I will eat strawberries but I don't like sweet potatoes, quiche or whip cream either.  I don't mind cheese cake but not a big deal for me. If done right I will eat it if nothing else is around.

I am not a vegetarian, but damn that makes me hungry!  All of it.

4 miles easy today with some strides.

Rick, thank you for starting today's thread. I'm glad that strength and core went well.

kristin10185, brava on the ten-miler yesterday. I hope that your tapering goes OK.

scottydawg, great 5K and 5.5 this past weekend.

DaveP MI, I hope that your SRD has been fun.

                Andrew, bravo on the three.

Nicole, I hope that you and DH enjoy the group run.

                Zelanie, have a great five-miler.

                Shari, beautiful 6.44.

                Ric-G, sweet six.

Zelanie, I'm pissed when people disrespect others' time. One of my colleagues did that this morning.

Lauren710, wonderful 5.5. Enjoy weight training.

Phil, excellent eleven. I hope that you're enjoying your day off.

Marjorie, have a pleasant rest day. I hope that the replacement of the hot-water heater is uneventful.

                Slymoon Runs, fantastic four.

I still feel kind of crappy. At least I got three hours of sleep last night. My colleague was unapologetically half an hour late this morning. Her excuse? She was tired because she returned home late from Israel last night. (Bull puckey. I did the same two weeks ago. And I don't have teenagers who are capable of helping at home. And I still hailed my fat posterior to work on time the next morning.)

I did 1.50 miles, including five rounds of the hill, during my break in 15:22. 10:16 pace.

The sky in Boston looks angry. I'm on my way to the gym for an easy run.

6.2 miles on the TM in 1:00:23. 9:45 pace.

I sure as F didn't feel recovered well!

I think that speaks of my potential if I don't F myself like in the March 1 race.
