It is not a funny movie, though. But I agree, one of the best and silly movies ever made.
So it's supposed to be a serious movie? I'm sure DH would love it then, he enjoys those types of movies.
It is a serious movie. My husband loves it, damn him. Hope he does not read this or we would be watching it tonight.
I remember it being totally awesome. And I will not watch it again, because I prefer to just remember it that way, rather than seeing it now & realizing how ridiculous it probably really was. DW & I refer to that phenomenon as Planet of the Apes syndrome.

I think i had a bias against it in the past when I didn't realize that it was sci fi. So maybe it's not even that dumb of a movie.
