5:27 half iron. I had a rough day, but so did everyone. "Feels like 93."
Great job, man!
Former Bad Ass
Nice job, Phil and MBC!
PS, Mary passed 100 miles at the NC 24 with 14 minutes to spare. I have not tracked George, but hoping he did well!

Oof.
Nice job nonetheless.
It looks like it's going to be hot next weekend for my half.
Boo. Which half are you doing?
Nice job, brutal conditions.

Thanks, guys. My HM run was officially 2:06, and I suffered. Slowest HM I've ever had.

We can't all always be great.

Today I:
1. Ran a sub-par 10K, because that's the only type of 10K I know how to run, which is unfortunate since I could have won, but instead settled for a tiny PR
2. Got my Boston Marathon acceptance email
3. Freaked out
I cannot imagine you running a 2:06 HM.

No more marathons

Yep!
Because all it did was make my 10K PR pace one second faster than my HM PR pace. (The saddest part is that I was sure the first place female was two or three minutes ahead of me, and it was really 36 seconds, so if I hadn't run as terribly as I did, I could have beaten her. OH WELL.)

The child had another rough night.....the 12 miles did not happen. I took Jetta and Dorian out later this morning hoping for 5 or 6 miles, but by 3 it became obvious Jetta just wasn't handling the 83 degrees, sunny and humid weather. We called it done at 4 miles, walked .3 back to Tahoe and hopefully I can get in another 5 tonight.
