I have a feeling that is the medal for this year, if you go to register, it shows that pic and says that is this years medal. I bet they just didn't update the text next to the pic(probably showed last years medal at some point).

And it says this years race year, so I am thinking it is the new medal if it's listed on the registration page.

I'm doing the virtual. Heck you get a medal & a tech shirt(gender specific even!)

Well, I'm glad I posted it, too, then!

This whole Virtual Race thing is boggling my mind. Is the only benefit to get the shirt and bling?

 

  Besides, it's hanging in my office here at work right now.

I can't think of a better place for a beer.  

On the virtual races, it's fun to turn your LR into a faster long run, I guess. The two that I did both went to great charities. I did both when there were no races going on in my area. And NBT, no RR for these, but one I did I posted my pic post run on their FB page.

Thanks for the info.  I signed up for the virtual also.  Pretty cheap race that way.  And it gives me a goal for end of February.

I LOVE the idea of getting something useful instead of a medal (or in this case, a useful medal)!
