IronMan ;)
Totally stupid question: does anyone know the significance of those little banners near the end of each stage they are usually in pairs and are simply the numbers "2" and "3". So in the last few hundred meters there are a pair that say "3" and then around 50 meters from those are "2" and then "3" again.

Hip Redux
My fantasy team had a good day today.
Hahaha, that's not nearly as cool as I'd envisioned!
Did you guys see the interview with Ted King? Oh my.
Caretaker/Overlook Hotel
Uh oh.....what about?
Randy
King cut from tour. I can't find the video online, but the news article pretty much sums it up.
I don't see the big issue.
Its probably in his bets long term interest to go home and rest.
Tough to accept, but 2 years ago Prudhomme did say in exchange for longer cutoffs, they would be strict in enforcing them
Yeah, I guess I can see both sides. But seeing grown men cry on camera still sucks.
Not cool. I agree with the part in the article about organizers being part responsible for that crash mess.
Empathy, yes. "As his parents were arriving in France to cheer him on for his first TDF."
Great.....lots of empathy there on behalf of the tour. How ws hold we penalize the tour for not organizing the finish of stage 1?
FYI - looks like tomorrow's stage is on NBC not NBC Sports, for those of you who have your DVRs set.
Time to unleash the SkyBorgs...
Froome for the stage win, and to take yellow.
And let's stop this drama & get these poor sprinters to the finish line in one piece & all together. I've been waiting for a good showdown & since the beginning this thing's been a mess.
And poor Christian Vande Velde. Bummer!!
Time to unleash the SkyBorgs... Froome for the stage win, and to take yellow.
Ding ding ding!
yep, but good showing from the Colombian kid. Would have liked to see him hang on, but pretty impressive nonetheless.
