I found a photo of LRB in his manpris from this weekend's race.
Oh. Dear. God.
Did 6 x (760 meters hard with 380 meters jog). It was, well, hard.
I'm in the last week of phase 3 of the program, and that phase calls for back to back workouts.
So tomorrow I should run 5 x (1 mile T w/ 1 min jg).
Phase 4 should be a little gentler on me, with rest days between workouts.
Wow, Dave, you've been quite busy! Sorry about your car, but glad you did not get hurt and your vehicle did not suffer much. Where are you in SC? My cousin is in Myrtle Beach. One day I am going to get out that way to visit her, so maybe we can get in an FE. Also, the Cooper River Bridge Run has always been on my "Races To Do Dream List".

He is on the other side of the state, in Greenville.
I figured any Dave is allowed to answer.

Tuesday double complete. The tempo run could have been better. I was tired and definitely still feeling the cold. Anyway,
15 minutes warm up
30 minutes tempo (4 miles at 7:12 pace...faster would have been better)
15 minutes easy
8.05 miles at 7:28 avg pace. I'll take it I guess. The wind was not my friend today. 13.6 miles on the day.

Tuesday double complete. 11 miles on the day.

Got in an extra 3 miles this afternoon Feeling pretty good, but the disadvantages of running 98% of my mileage before the ass crack of dawn is that I don't become very acclimated to my races that are normally an hour after the sun has rose above the horizon. So I am going to try and sneak in miles where I can during the warmer times of day.

11.2 on the day. Only 2.2 of Hills. Hubby had some issueS. Didn't matter though because i was struggling.
I'd love to know which # LRBs photo was. I was in there too but i forget which one. Possibly #27 if memory serves correct.

Capstone posted some of the photos on Facebook - that's how I found it. Just happened to be poking around!
