Yup, track work again. 6 x 800m w/400m recoveries. Tough one today as I was still feeling lingering fatigue from the weekend's trail race. 8¾ miles total.
Also, I've now passed 350 hours of running for the year, which is a new high for me.

No track workout for me, but I have 5 later. And Pilates.

Cane day… something in high inside right groin. Theme and variation of what happened in September, but different location. September was in the front; this is high in between the legs. It had been minor for the last few days.Just have to wait it out

4-5 tonight. Missed yesterday’s run because the restoration people were in our house until around 11 PM. They were setting up a system to dehumidify the back half of our house.

Mine were there for weeks, but my flooding was really bad. Good luck!
Congrats Fred!
I woke up at 12:30 AM and could not get back to sleep. At all. Eventually just got up and ran, 9 miles in a light drizzle. Gonna be a long day.

Whatcha say there, Ace! Slept in this morning, then ran 5 easy miles during my lunch break. Slow and easy but still a bit of a grind. I imagine my next few runs will be similar until I kick this virus. We had some nasty weather yesterday so the bike path was covered in debris...pinecones, leaves, and sticks.

Thanks, Dave. Sorry to hear of the interrupted sleep. Sometimes once you're up, you're up and there's nothing to do about it, though for me that time is usually closer to 3 or 4.
7 straight days of working on this case. I finally pressed submit to our mega objections. I am still hoping these cases go under the radar and you don't see my name on the press, ha.
Another RD. Golfed this morning and didn't feel like running early.
Now sitting by the pool with a too-expensive frozen drink. The water is heated which makes the lazy river and water slides doable as its 75F during the day but 48 at night. Last time we were at this resort during summertime it was 120F (!!) which is a literal game of the 'floor is lava'.
4 after work because I went into the office this morning. Had planned on doing this on the treadmill, but the burnt rubber smell started again.
Either it needs lubrication and there is rubbing with the belt or you have a cable burning.
5.1 miles done. Felt very strong.
It's so old I cannot find any info on it on Google. Heck, I can;t even find the company. We've had it 10 years and not sure how long the neighbor had it before he wanted help taking it to the dump. I told DH next week it should go to the dump. I plan on going over to the fitness equipment store and checking out one that seems to be a match for the limited space.
I did get a quote from a fitness repair place. It's $250 for them to come look at it. That's more than I'd be willing to spend if the answer has a good chance of being "it's done" or any repairs would far exceed the cost of a new one.
Lubrication of the belt should be easy. And if you've had it for 10 years without lubricating it once or twice a year, that's probably what's burning. But it could also be a cable. Did you unplug it? Don't leave it plugged in case it bursts on fire.
