Living in the middle of BFE, riding my horse around the hills, running around the pastures, and trying to spend as little time as possible with my little sister. Probably also doing the dishes and folding laundry on a regular basis. I was 12.

20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.

      Barking Mad To Run

I was 31 years old and in Hawaii in the Air Force at that time and in 1985 in Hawaii I married the love of my life, Gail, and we are still together.

I was in 8th grade which means I would have been chasing all kinds of reptiles in the deserts of New Mexico. Those were the days!

I didn't know you went to Hogwarts.

Funnily enough the Hogwarts exam system is loosely based on the British  Muggle one.

                      Walk-Jogger

In 1985 I was married with 3 going on 4 kids, and was busy travelling all around the world as a bank computer systems support specialist. I also turned 30 that year, very unwillingly and with much wailing and gnashing of teeth at getting so "old". You never realize just how young you are, until you're well past it and looking back.

This is a spinoff of the "User Name" thread.  Kristin was born in 1985.  What were you doing that year?

I was a senior in college.

I was starting my junior year of college in the fall of '85.

I was already married also but had not had any children yet. Actually turned the same age as scottydawg that year, so now you all know how old I will be on my next birthday (this month).

That was our last year without kids.  Hadn't even thought of running yet.
