You need a masseuse to rub dat ass out Zelly. I am getting mine rubbed Friday.
I hear you, but I'm trying to be cheap. Just ordered some new running shoes and a bra, and then got a surprise bill in the mail.

Put it this way; the girl can fry some ass. Deep fried, pan fried, sauteed, poached, grilled, BBQ'd, fricasseed. However you want it.
It's grab-the-popcorn time when someone wants to get into it with her. Glad we're friends.

Tell me about it. Running and its related expenses costs me a billion dollars. lol
Hip Redux
So where is D Pizzle fo shizzle, my nizzle fo rizzle? I know he mentioned an upcoming international trip a week or so ago but he never said bye to me.
Nice Avi CJ1.
Thanks. The 3 reasons I run. Well, actually it was only 2 when I started, but you get the idea.

^ Yes, very adorable avi.
Oski in a meltdown thread, defending B&B... Those were the days. Btw, a 26:00 5k for a 37 year old woman is a 22:00 5k for a 32 year old man. Not sure how the guy's comment was even relevant in Oski's thread...
Lori, that's a lot of miles you're doing. My hat's off to you. I did Hansons last year and I had a really hard time keeping up.
Sly, LRB... cutting socks up and eating more to fatten up my arms. You guys are so funny. But it's no laughing matter. My arms are twigs. Twigs, I say!
So my run almost did not happen, because I fell asleep on the couch after supper. I woke up at 8 pm. It took all my willpower to put my running clothes on. Once I had started, though, it wasn't too bad... 10 miles @ 7:54, a weird mix of recovery, easy pace, MP and HMP.
PRs: Boston Marathon, 3:27, April 15th 2013
Cornwall Half-Marathon, 1:35, April 27th 2013
18 marathons, 18 BQs since 2010
I ran 10 with 8x1k at 10k pace, 2 minute recoveries. This was harder than it should have been.
So I was at the 10k point in my half the other day and I asked myself, "How am I going to run 42.195? I'm not even at halfway of this race and it's starting to feel long."
Run to live; live to run
LRB just two days.
Did you see my post yesterday that Quincy and Hammy may get a little brother? The rescue they came from just got 9 puppies. We are sponsoring one and may be able to adopt one of the 9. we are hoping. I love dogs and been bugging DH that I want a puppy.
Marjorie
Are we there, yet?
I asked for advice in the main forums about running after yet-another herniated disc. I got such helpful advice such as "Jeesh... this is a 26 min 5k we are talking about."... so I guess why bother since I'm not fast? And someone else told me I was stupid to try to continue to run (even though my back problems have no correlation with running).

I'll have to remember to only mention my PRs (from 40+ years ago) and not my current times.
