I won't mention it's 80F here right now. Oops.
Damaris
Ha! And I won't mention that by 25, I meant minutes, not miles.
Return To Racing
Late run today due to Dr. appointment. Awww, DW waited and we ran 2 miles to keep the streak going. 18*/7*WC. Felt good after LR yesterday.
Team TJ
Rest day for me. Picture from FE with Kristin on the weekend penguins thread.
Running for TJ because he can't.
Traci - I had a workup a while back and showed borderline low on ferritin etc. Two months later I was fine. When I give blood I'm borderline anemic too. This was never an issue before I started running and I was told that the running can cause anemia. Fortunately, it's not bad enough for me to need supplements.
PAD - sorry your knee is hurting.
D - I hope your catch-up time at work wasn't too stressful.
Obiebyke - yikes, that's cold!
Lauren - I definitely don't have the patience for low HR training, but I think it would be really good discipline.
HopesMom - hope the singing goes well tonight and that your arm doesn't cause problems.
Scotty - safe travels tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.
sapf - I've considered upgrading my Garmin, since I do want to run a marathon and my FR10 won't last that long, but they get expensive when you get more technology. Let us know how the Polar works for you.
Jerry - good job getting out in the cold.
Robert - hope you enjoyed your rest day.
Two miles on the TM makes 9 days in a row for my streak so far.
Do you have to do 2 miles for the streak ? 1 mile ? What's the minimum?

Traci
It's just 1, but we did 2 as we are so badass.
I've tried several streaks. Seems like they just aren't for me, never an injury just terrible mental lapse.

6 late miles done 8:24 pace. Now we wait for the latest round of mudslides. Perhaps we will be on the news again. Sigh...
Me too. I need some rest days even if ever two weeks
or so.
Jack, stay safe!
Jack, stay safe.
6 before work.
Stay safe, Jack and family.
This is the first time I've ever tried a streak. I only need to do one mile per day, but since it takes at least a mile for me to warm up, I'd just as soon make it worth the effort and do at least two, unless I'm really not feeling like running. Besides, as long as I'm sweating, I may as well keep going. OTOH, I don't want to get injured by doing too much when it's not necessary. So, I'm not going to go all out and run 5+ miles each and every day. I haven't gotten to the point of missing my rest days, but I expect that will come. It should make it a little easier when I ramp up for marathon training. I was planning on only running 5 days a week but if this goes well, I may do six.
HereI am bringing up the rear of the penguins. Last of my company left my house today. Worn slick. Did get my minimum Mike on dir my streak today and yesterday. Also got an upper body strength work out in tonight.
Back to work in the morn. As crazy-busy as work is, feel like In headed there tomorrow to relax. Holidays and me...it's a Love/Hate relationship. Love that my family centers around my house, but all the prep, work, and aftermath is exhausting, even with all their help.
Planning for 5 miles in the morning. I can...I will...I am!
