Thanks for asking! Fortunately not a couple of weeks, no (though the question was whether it was directly running-related, or something more serious that running aggravated. She's had knee problems in the past). She went to our LRS, had them analyze her gait, and she needs to retrain how she's running. She lands sharply on the outside of her heel, then comes down onto the rest of her foot, putting a whole bunch of strain on her knee in the process. Enough so that there is already significant wear on the outside of the heels of her shoes (the shoes have less than 15 miles on them). So, she's doing some quad strengthing and low impact stuff until the pain is gone, (and we're walking as she can tolerate), and then we'll be back to our slow-motion jogging
At the moment though, we're burried under 6" of snow and ice, so it all may be postponed a couple days
