Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson
I'm a big weenie... still... I thought I was over that... but while i ran on the treadmill I got a cramp and started seeing spots and my vision was blurry... about 1 mile in... so i stopped... i donno why I stopped - I felt fine... i'm just the world's biggest weenie... if you could all reach through the monitor and slap me that would be AWESOME... THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Dinged my lower back somehow. Was able to do some stretches this morning and loosen the area up so I did pullups and will try to run. The quadratus lumborum area. Tight next to the spine so it hurts down the butt through the leg and bottom of the foot. I am taking today off as vacation so I can stand more and take care of some errands. It's ironic. I am in the process of joining a relay for the American Odyssey in April. Starts in Gettysburg and runs to DC. 200 miles in 24 hours. 12 - 14 runners on the relay team. I booked the flight yesterday. I will be going with a friend from here. Hope to get the details finalized soon. Cleveland is the furthest NorthEast I've been so it will all be new for me. I am excited to train again finally and now the low back acts out.
On the road again...
I write. I read. I run. One time, I ran a lot on my 50th birthday.
