Thanks, guys.  It was one of those days where you would quit your run and leave to run another day.  Well, it was a race but the same principle.  Nothing to be gained and everything to lose.

I ran yesterday.  6 miles @ 10:36mm (my fastest in a while) and 149HR (it was sunny and hot) while my car was being serviced.  Not bad.  No pain.

    SRD today.

Hilly course. Knee pain within the first mile. Walked  30 meters uphill. Pain free the rest of the way. Tomorrow will tell the story..

        Chasing the bus

Finished my week with 4 this am to total 26 mi. Not the 30 I was shooting for, but that makes two weeks in a row above 25, so I'll take it. Getting comfortable with running multiple days in a row, and feels like MAF pace is coming back again (4 miles under 11:30 as a recovery run!). Having some tib/fib issues at longer distances, but rolling and running helps.

          have a good week, all!

Great job, guys.  Did 8 miles on Sunday with hubby, didn't even wear a HRM since we were going at his pace.  7 miles this morning with the last 2 @ MP, 10:49mm average, 148HR, last two at 9:57mm.  Not bad.  No pain.

4 miles in 56+ minutes; usually have to walk/run to keep HR 125 or less; today after warming up I ran the entire last 2 miles, but at near 15:00 pace.  Didn't know I could run that slow!  At 5 AM it was 26 degrees and calm; ran by the moonlight, didn't need my head lamp.  Nice!

Vacationing in Door County this weekend, ran 4.6 mi this morning, then we hiked another 5.5 in state parks during the day.  Now relaxing with some red wine before supper!  Smile
