A great recipe for a nice dessert with when going low-carb, keto-training, or just generally a good high-fat recovery food. There are only a few net carbs if you use Sweet and Low. A lot more with honey:
Choco-Gwock
(just double or triple for larger amounts)
1 med-large avocado (or 1.5 small)
half to full tablespoon of dark or regular cocoa powder (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon of unrefined coconut oil
1 Sweet and Low for keto-training, OR 1 tablespoon of honey for non-keto low-carb (if tolerated)
Blend in a blender and it will come out like a chocolate mousse.
Or mash the avocado, then add the rest and stir and mash until creamy (this method will still show a little green avocado in it).
Coconut oil is a God-send. Love it.
Sweet-low is the only artificial sweetener in this recipe that tastes good to me.
Enjoy!
