Lots of great Mexican food, followed by Mexican Train Dominoes and margaritas.
Today’s run puts me at 2003.9 miles for the year so far.

Spareribs - congratulations on hitting 25 this week. how have you been feeling?
The stage of fatigue is over, and the sternum is fully healed. I can now do full stretch and core workouts too. Also, I now feel like I can run without being too winded.
Be safe. Be kind.

Can you explain the domino game?
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
"During a marathon, I run about two-thirds of the time. That's plenty." - Margaret Davis, 85 Ed Whitlock regarding his 2:54:48 marathon at age 73, "That was a good day. It was never a struggle."

Enke, sure hope you get a picture of yourself all dolled up! Would be fun to see... GL with the run tomorrow. I got in my longest run in quite some time... over a month actually! 10.3 miles of snowy hills with blowing snow and soft footing in spots. Pretty challenging at times. Kept thinking of the Kanye West song, "Stronger," thinking that which doesn't kill me just makes me stronger. I had to keep reminding myself that all those miles slipping and floundering in the snow would make me that much better on dry pavement. Let's hope it works!
Running has given me the courage to start, the determination to keep trying, and the childlike spirit to have fun along the way - Run often and run long, but never outrun your Joy of running!

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.

Run for fun? What the hell kind of recreation is that? quote from Back to the Fut III
free snackies, free booze, free cab ride home... I found a "little black dress" to wear to this affair...first time I have ever owned such a thing (pathetic, I don't get out much!). Steal at 40 dollars, regular $178, 100% silk Jones New York dress, so I splurged on the accesories. I am even wearing red lipstick...something I have only done about 3 times in my life before (worn lipstick at all, let alone RED), I am not joking. Hey, it looks pretty good!
