Now all you able-bodied Boomers (if there are any), get out there and run!
Be safe. Be kind.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

I suited up and ran on the treadmill in the garage a whole 2 minutes at about 13:00 pace before I decided that it was not yet time to run. (sigh) Truth is, even walking is very painful. There is a good sports medicine center not far from here, and I have made an appointment for this afternoon. I should probably just wait a week and see, but I am too impatient. I want to know NOW if this is something that will go away quickly or keep me off my feet for weeks. Besides, it’s always nice to get a specific diagnosis, and know the name of the muscle you damaged, rather than saying, my butt hurts.
