Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Treating glute for PF?
I think I may have confused the issue. I have something called Piriformis Syndrome, which really is a pain in the @$$, literally. (As opposed to PF, or plantar fasciitis, which I've heard is a pain in the @$$, but only figuratively.) The good news is that I now know what I have, and the stuff I've been told to do to address it seems to be working.)
Here is the plan for the week:

Hi Holly. With all you do, how long have you been doing the 40/40?
It’s been while for me though to run 40 miles in a single week but need some incentive/inspiration for a possible 10-laps around the 3.2 mile, dirt, outer perimeter of Green Lake this weekend instead of missing out on the 50K distance again.
.
Sunday (3/16) - taperMonday (3/17) - 4 miles (lunar raining run)Tuesday (3/18) - 4 miles (cloudy lunar raining run) Wednesday (3/19) - taperThursday (3/20) - taperFriday (3/21 - Spring Equinox) - taperSaturday (3/22) - 32 miles (Dizzy Daze 12 hour). . . . . . . . total . . . 40 miles (I hope)

Just a dude.
Well, I wasn't sure how the week would go, so I didn't want to post a schedule or anything that would put pressure on me over doing things. I need this leg better. And I think I am winning that battle, slowly...
For the week I had:
Monday: 5.2 miles easy
Tuesday: 2 mile warmup, 4x800 meter hills, 2 mile cool down. 8 miles total (Actually seemed to help my leg...)
Wednesday: 5.4 miles easy
Thursday: 9.2 miles fartlek
Friday: 5.2 easy + 8 strides on a soccer field
Saturday: 13.2 mile long run. (Rough run, felt beat up and tired)
Sunday: 5.4 miles easy
Total: 51.5
Gonna try to do pretty much the same thing next week. Hopefully I'll keep getting better.
Thanks all!!!
-Kelly
Getting back in shape... Just need it to be a skinnier shape...
