Here’s my tentative plan for the week. First day at a new job, leaving 30 minutes earlier and working an hour later, so I'll play it by ear with the running. No need to add more stress than I already have.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Thanks, again, Holly. I know you've got a lot of other things going on right now, so I appreciate you keeping this thread going.
I can't believe it's time to taper already. I was really enjoying my runs. I'm not sure when I'll be back up to 40 mile weeks, so please bear with me.

Congrats on the new job Holly.
Subject to change, perhaps drastic change:
Thanks Holly, legas are feeling much better now so I guess it's time to work towards that sub 20 5K goal, we'll see how things shape out over the next few weeks. I think I should be able to tell if it's even possible after I run a 3 miler on June 10th, that should at least give me an idea of where I am and what I need to concentrate on.

12 Miles - 1:45:12 (8:47) - nice long run on the OOB / Saco / Scarboro stretch of the Eastern Trail. Pretty humid out there, and some A$$HOLE stole our water and cups that we put out at the turn around! We found them a short distance away in a trash can, the water was emptied and the cups tossed in the trash...WTF??

Thanks, Holly. You're smart to ease into the new job routine. Running can go on the back burner for awhile.
My work life is back to normal after a few big weeks, so I'm back on track here. It's my last week of lollygagging before I start a Pfitz cycle (my first). Should be fun. H&H is sucking the life out of me, though.
Be safe. Be kind.

That adds up to something like 50.5 for the week. They'll run that trail race again next year...so no worries about that.
