        Sunday 15k Race 14.1  Includes brutal 15k race.  Plan was to get faster every 5k.  Worked for the first two, but fell apart during mile 8.  Too hot/humid and I started to feel like I was overheating too much.   Oh well...

            Sat      10       11 trail (Got attacked by territorial biting bees that latched onto my legs and had to be pulled off- yeow! They were feeding on a dead mole as I ran by.)

            Sun     10        10 road, then went to Urgent Care and got started on antibiotics for bee bite. Man, my leg hurts!

            Don't make excuses for why you can't get it done. 

            Focus on all the reasons why you must make it happen.

              Have a plan in my head but guess it's not a real plan until it's written down.

              Wednesday....6.5 mi. (4 x 0.5 mi. hard in the middle).....done (shorter cool down)-5.8 again! + p.m. bike 16.8

              Thursday.........group run.............................................................................2 solo runs instead-5.6

              Friday..............6 mi. easy.............................................................................done-5.9 hilly

              Saturday.........15 mi. long run.....................................................................bonked & had heel pain-13.3

                Youch! I get attacked by biting flies when I run on trails, but I can usually swat them away before they bite. Biting bees that latch on ... that's tough!
