Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Thanks. Here's my plan (if you guys haven't tried the new Training Plan feature here, check it out):

I'm taking a couple of weeks off from any organized running plan, so I need to request the White Stone.

Thanks for keeping this thread going Holly. We know you are super busy with the new job, your family, etc. and we appreciate it!
Last week went pretty well. I'm maybe going to add a few miles this week. I'm trying to keep many of the days "Easy-paced" to allow me to build up the mileage and still run 2 harder workouts a week.Bill
"Some are the strong, silent type. You can't put your finger on exactly what it is they bring to the table until you run without them and then you realize that their steadiness fills a hole that leaks energy in their absence." - Kristin Armstrong
Pending results from Dr. this afternoon -- hoping to be > 40 miles this week. Fingers crossed...

The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

A 'cut back' week for me, made more of a fall back than intended by hurting my back moving a boat. Three nights this week spent sleeping on the floor, flat on my back...
My total for the week just makes it: 40.9. miles.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
Vacation week for me. Steep hill trail run/walks and great long gradual hills on the roads.
Total 60.7 miles.
Be safe. Be kind.
