Recovery week for me. Actually, this will be a recovery month. Time to back off and just do something else for awhile. Nothing's hurt, just tired and on the edge of burnout. I'm sure the weather has a lot to do with it; November was sooo cold here! But I'm sure I'll hit 2,400 for the year anyway which is by far the most miles in a year evah for me.

Thanks Leslie I'd like to tell you all about my new running spot.
Empire Mine road in Antioch used to be a country rd when I was a teenager that was a great place to party especially because it was rumored to be haunted. I havent used or even thought about this road in many many years. I just found out recently that the city of Antioch closed this road about 20 years ago to traffic due to new roads being built and its reputation as a party place and trash dumping. The road is still there though and its awesome! Its a 6.85 mile loop of rolling hills, closed to traffic, lots of nature, and still nicely paved.
Perfect for running! Today I was the only one out there except for a few coyotes.
Below I have posted the map my run link for this course. If you have Google Earth the 3D fly over of my run today is pretty cool.
