For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run 40 miles/week or more. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard...
Here’s what I have for last week’s tally. Let me know what adjustments to make.

The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

Hey all, not sure what this week is going to look like for me. Was hoping to race a 4 miler this Saturday, but my legs are feeling REALLY beat up from the 25k Trail Run (I did not really race it, but it was rough) on last Saturday.
Hopefully make it to 40, but will have to wait and see...
Thanks for keeping this going Holly!!!
And you can quote me as saying I was mis-quoted. Groucho Marx

I should back be in the 40 mile range this week, so I'll hop back in with this illustrious and inspirational group. Bill

Thanks, Holly.

Thanks Holly boy am I late in posting this stuff! Sorry about that, but I noticed you hadn't gotten to it yet anyways so I went ahead and did last weeks too. Things are just really hectic for me so this is the best I can do.
Thanks for all you do.

Came up a bit short of 40 with 26.3. Trying to be a good boy until I get the results of the MRI.
Think POSITIVE for me -- I was feeling as strong as I have been in a long time and was really ready to crank it up for Houston (27 weeks to go)...
