Indeed Deputy Chief Mule was able to get David to the Start again at just after 9.00am and then to the RV area where he dried off tended to his feet....a true ultrarunner.
I left him at the gates with him still looking resolute and determined, if not a little tired.
As for me, I wandered off feeling tired but pleased with the night's run....well done David

a few pictures that I caught in the afternoon, the evening and the following morning. Dave you are a legend of Immune proportions. Congratulations on running the 105+ miles in well under 24 hours. Jerry, it was fantastic to see you in such high spirits. I am sorry I was not able to offer quite as much as a double marathon.
The hats go off to you though Dave. I hope that you look back on this day with pride as you have succeeded on a mission that has not been achieved before.....amazing
