I took my time with this one. As mentioned in another thread. This is the long awaited sequel to John L Parker's book, Once a Runner. The book was not Once a Runner 2. I liked the book. I felt as if I had to read the book since I really enjoyed the first book. It was quite a bit longer than the first, and I enjoyed the first because of the how it hit a lot of the themes that a competitive runner had to go through. The second book continues where the first one left off. There is a continuation of the competitive running, but it also took time to give a deeper look at the main character. It was good, and certainly worth a read. Bill
