Any runners using Exubera? (Read 207 times)

This is the new inhaled insulin, and I'd love to find a runner who is using this medication like I am. I have been on the clinical trial for over 4 years. There is a measureable decline in one of the lung function tests, but I haven't noticed it in my running. My doctor is considering removing me from the trial but a pulmonologist has said I'm just fine. It has been such a great experience and the convenience is a huge plus. My 10K and half marathon times have been unchanged or slightly better during that time, and I managed my first 2 marathon runs last year and this year. I seem to be able to train as hard as I want to. Any input would be appreciated. I'm very happy to have found a website with diabetic athletes, and seemingly a pretty close bunch.
