at Jacobus.
a solid enough effort. a hard tempo but not really a race effort.
first mile was smarter. probably 7:45. then I picked it up to 7:20 and just maintained. I had a solid kick at the last 75 meters and used it. It's not a race but I caught some attention running that fast at the end.
still not fit clearly. but at least improving.
(note from 2 days later - I HAVE to avoid these runs where I end up pounding downhill on asphalt. I hate downhill on asphalt.)
