Not a bad run taking into consideration that I have been struggling with lower back ackes over the last few days. I took a risk to run but proved to be the right decision. I managed to run well but put not as much effort as I could have so I run Smart. From the very beginning of my running I focused on posture, running from the trunk of body with relaxed limbs and neck and shoulders and listening to the body. This did wonders as I felt I protected my back and allowed me to use less effort thus using energy wisely. I felt I applied 'Chi Running' technique very well. I am aware I have run like this before but tonight the pleasure was double as I was fighting lower back complaints whilst at the same time being able to run as a whole rather than in separate parts. Body was self-composed and aware of the technique. I was very pleased with the effort and the results. Did good stretches and back exercises when back. Back felt sore a bit after but nothing to worry about. I run the 4 miles an average 8.50 min per mile.
