Notes

Ran during a thunderstorm, so ended up going way too fast. The threat of possible death lingered over me for the about 3 miles. That has a way of making you pick up the pace. Every time I hear thunder, or saw a lightning bolt, I picked up. 25 minutes in, it cleared up, and by 30 minutes I was running under a sunny blue sky. Still, never making the decision to run during a storm again. It is exhilarating, but, since I don't want to die, not really worth the risk. Granted, getting struck by lightning is a very unlikely event, but I don't really feel like tempting fate.

On a positive note, someone did stop and ask me if I wanted a lift anywhere right when it started getting bad. Good to know there are nice people out there.
