Doubled back with a DMR anchor leg. Quite possibly one of my favorite races ever, was just a lot of fun. Got the baton pretty far back, with some team right behind me and Kevin with about a 6 second lead. I just went to work as best as I could trying to run him down, which seemed pretty bleak, but he looked back with about 600m to go, which gave me some hope. The last three laps was probably the most competitive I've gotten in years, and even though I came up a second short of catching kevin I almost made up a 6 second deficit and split a pretty good time. This made me really miss running the mile.
