Notes
A long hard run in the snow around the base of the mesa (but still with 950 feet of climbing) and then some extra miles in Golden. Worked much harder than 8:00 pace, but conditions weren't good for swiftness, what with the snow, ice and brisk temperatures. Even in a hat my head was throbbing by the end! On the paved sections I was running 6:40 pace, and that's a better guide. Tired by the end, but not overly so. Should be able to fit in another run tomorrow... probaby slow and for pure pleasure though!
