Notes
Against the odds managed to get out for a very short session. Just ran easy for a mile, then ran a fast downhill mile, then easy back to the house. Testing out my new road shoes, and decided I love 'em. Ran the downhill mile in 4:54, not completely flat out, and lost AT LEAST 5 seconds, maybe more, to the three very icy stretches on the route. At sea level, on the flat, I know I'd be a sub-five miler again. Off little real speed work recently this feels extremely GOOD!
