Had a gel and some water before I left. A little G-ade at the end of the first 2 miles. Made a lot of observations about running in the rain. Wet shoes and socks feel like bricks on your feet. Your wet shorts and nickers rub your thighs raw. Probably wouldn't make it 10 miles before it started hurting. You can't tell if your sweating. It really cools you off running into the wind wet. Other than that its not bad and probably better if you were on the road instead of a gravel muddy track.
