2.5 mile warm-up to fish lake trail, strides, then 16x1 min on 2 min jog recovery. 8 out 8 back average between 54-57.5/300 meters or 4:48-5:07/mile. Goal was to run fast but in control. I wasn't demolished from this workout like I have been in the past and was able to close hard on the last 3. Cool down same as warm-up back to work.
