Felt great today, 15 minute warm-up 2.2 miles, 60 minute fartlek 1 mile on 1/2 mile off starting at 10.2mph 5:52/mile and adding .1 to each and running the last 4 minutes at 5:15/mile pace. Covered 9.8 m miles during fartlek 6:07/mile avg. Repeat paces were 1(5:52) 2(5:49) 3(5:45) 4(5:42) 5(5:39) 6(5:36) ran the last .8 miles at 5:12 pace. 15 minute cool-down 2.25 miles. The best workout I have done this year and a good indication of my current fitness level.
