Today was awesome, started out with a quick tempo on my warm-up with very little effort. Took a few minutes to stretch and get into the right mindset and then off for 16x1min at mile race pace. Adam Goucher did 16 at 50-52 seconds with a full rest in between, I averaged just over 53 seconds. I used my Garmin as apposed to hitting the track, I feel like the road is a better place for me to hit it hard. I don't always trust its accuracy which is the only problem. I had a range of 4:23/mile pace to 5:20/mile pace and they all felt about the same effort and speed. I took all the intervals added them and divided by 16. That is what I am sticking with!

After the 16th interval my legs were shot. I took a couple of minutes to regroup and then ran easy and fast back home, which included a 3/4 mile climb. So far I am trusting this workout regimine. I will be running a 3.2 mile race on the 11th so we will see if I have improved over the last month.
