Notes
Woke up this morning (noon) and saw that tomorrow the weather is supposed to suck! A temperature drop of 20 degrees and high winds for my 10 mile tempo, that's not going to happen. I decided to give it a go today. We have a great 10 mile course that just happens to start 1/2 mile from my house. I threw on the flats and went for it. Although tomorrow is supposed to be the windy day, I still managed to be fighting 10-20 mph gusts from time to time. Before today my 10 mile pr was 56:30, today if put down a 55:20 on my own under control with the exception of the last 10 minutes or so when I realized I killing it.
Splits as follows, 5:34, 5:37, 5:37, 5:33, 5:29, 5:18, 5:39, 5:39, 5:19, 5:35. There is one significant downhill and about 4 decent climbs while the rest is flat to slightly rolling. The last real hill was at 9.5 miles which explains the slow finish which is not like me.
