Well as I expected, I did not improve. In fact I did worse by about 15 seconds per mile. But, I am not going to get upset. Now that I've had some more time to think about it, it makes sense when you start increasing miles, there can be a period where you feel a bit worse before you start realizing the benefits of the increase. I think you are right with not expecting anything til 6 weeks. I'll do a test again in 2 weeks anyway just to see where I'm at. The important thing though is that I'm feeling good and my legs are fine. I'm going to keep doing this til Ian's race.
