What a great run! Decided to stay home today after yesterday's meeting extravaganza. I ended up stopping by the Princeton Running Company to pick up a few GUs for this weekend and another handheld bottle so I could have two for my really long runs coming up. While I was looking around, I came across those compression sleeves that them elite folks where and I was thinking maybe this would be a good idea for long runs as I start to really pile on the mileage so I spoke to the nice folks there and tried a few on. I ended up getting a pair and I tried them out on this run. I'm assuming it was some kind of placebo effect going on, but I loved them! I felt like they were propelling me forward. For this being a fairly easy run with a low HR I felt like I was just cruising along.

I hate those marathon meetings man, I am glad you are recharging your battery today. How was it at the PRC? I got an email about a winter sale...hopefully you had fun. As for your speedy gonzalez numbers here, I think it was 100% the sleeves. Great job getting your streak up to 40! Holy smokes that is a long streak...

Ditto dude - 40 consecutive days is serious stuff. I've always been curious about those sleeves... maybe I need to test drive those too after your glowing review! Nice work noonan.

Glad you like those sleeves. Are they actually compression sleeves, or just for warmth? Anyway, 40 days -- wow dude, that's impressive. Keep it up!
